Following  a complete strip and repaint of hull and deck in 2017, PARROT was purchased by her current owner in 2018 and subsequently fully renovated and optimised for offshore IRC racing including Fastnet with removal and refitment of keel, deck hardware etc and fitment of new electronics, new bowsprit, new sails and so on.

With her new bowsprit and asymmetric arrangement, PARROT is now much easier to handle with a short crew and substantially faster downwind.
