| Although in the final analysis this year's Congo Cup winner took June's Sailor of the Month by a healthy margin, his rival (and boss), Oracle Racing head Larry Ellison attracted considerable support for maintaining the right of private owners to steer their own boats. 'Sailing cannot have events like the America's Cup without people like Mr Ellison: said Mads Ehrardt, 'but ultimately they similarly cannot do without top sailors like Holmberg if they are to win the big prizes.' |
