So herešs the deal*:
. COURSE AND FORMAT The 2009/10 Volvo Ocean Race will take place using a race-course and racing format similar to that being used for the 2005/6 race. Up to four ports may be varied but no more than that to ensure the validity of data acquired during the current event.

CLASS OF BOAT Boats used will be VOR 70s. CREW Crew numbers will be increased from 10 to 14 (the increase being intended to widen accessibility to the event ­ a theme that will be continued elsewhere)...
