Rod DavisThe America's Cup competition has never been healthier. I know there are some who have publicly bagged the new version of the Cup, saying it's not like it used to be, or too much money and egos. But it's a fact that the America's Cup is the biggest event in sailing. Just like the famous quote, 'There is no second'. There have been many epic battles fought on the water over the years, like Australia II coming back from Liberty's three set-points to win the Cup in 1983, or the nail-biting 2000 LVC finals between Prada and AmericaOne or, just a few days ago, when BMW Oracle and Emirates Team New Zealand raced in 20kt, trading the lead four times before finishing three seconds apart.
