Rohan Veal used foils to win the 2004 European Open Championship and more major titles will certainly follow. To lift and glide silently and effortlessly above the waves with exciting bursts of speed has long been an ideal for those who dream! The technical potential has always been there, but practical reality has been lacking. It seems so simple just to place a foil under the hull and go! And yet in practice it ends up being somehow far more complex than it seems.
