Bang bangNo sooner did Groupe Finot launch their follow-up to Pierre Rolland's original and fabulously successful Pogo 6.5m design than the Pogo 2 had dominated the production class in the 2003 Mini Transat. Meanwhile Rolland's own new series-built Mini is also selling like wildfire... Pogo 2 is the first series Mini we have designed. In the prototype class this is the fourth victory for a Groupe Finot design. In fact our latest winner, Moulin Roti (skippered by Armel Tripon), is an older boat that finished second in 1995, third in 1997 and fifth in 2001. Perhaps it was time for a victory this year!
