The never-ending quest among manufacturing engineers to increase production, decrease cost and produce a superior product all at once has prompted another production method from North Sails. When fully developed, this internationally patented [sic] technique could not only make machine-engineered sails available to a broader market (conceivably down to day-racing dinghies), but also make production far more responsive to demand.
