Interest in offshore racing is growing again. Good news all round then - well, for many at least. Several of the more illustrious crew taking part this year claimed to have ‘surprisingly enjoyed’ the 2001 Rolex Fastnet Race, while many of the owners of larger raceboats already needed little convincing. As much as an intense four-day inshore series is a distraction from the pressures of big business... |
